U.S. CPI rose 0.6% in April; annual rate at 3.8%

BLS reported headline consumer prices rose 0.6% in April and rose 3.8% over 12 months. Core CPI, excluding food and energy, rose 0.4% on the month and rose 2.8% over the year.
