Outdoor recreation contributed $696.7 billion, 2.4% of U.S. GDP in 2024

BEA reported the outdoor recreation economy generated $696.7 billion of value added in 2024, equal to 2.4% of current-dollar U.S. GDP. The release also includes state-level estimates.
