U.S. direct investment abroad position rises to $7.14 trillion in 2025
BEA reported the U.S. direct investment abroad position increased $438.1 billion to $7.14 trillion at the end of 2025. The foreign direct investment position in the United States increased $266.0 billion to $5.86 trillion.
